Cheating or not?

my betterhalf cell phone beep for him to check a message last night around 1 or 2am....he said it was a voice message from a bill collector that he did not check earlier...but when I looked on the phone he did not know I saw him check it and he saw that it was a text message that said Hey call me........I got the phone and called back and it was a woman and she hung up....I called from the house phone and she laughed and said oh god...i had the wrong number...( told her I was his wife ) and why was she was texting so early...I asked 1 am in the morning? I got on the computer and text her back from his
screen name to her cell...I pretended to be him, but she kept saying she had the wrong number and to ____ your wife...now we live in MS, but the call was from UT....tell me what you all think...why would she say leave me alone and go ____your wife?

Sorry to say it but that whole story sounds suspicious. Keep an eye on your guy.

HE IS CHEATING or trying to!
Get a copy of his cell phone bill and that will be the end of your suspicions either way....
Call the company and have them send a new bill
or better yet jump on line and check it yourself
if he has sprint take his phone for an hour or two and have sprint send a text message to the phone that tells his password...use that to sign online and get into his account.
See just how many times the 'wrong number' appears.
once you have this information, confront him and watch him lie. DOnt show him your proof.
SOmetimes, that confrontation is enough to scare him. Then jump on next month and see if the phone calls have stayed the same.
also take note of the times that he calls...is it after work etc. and make a plan regarding what you want to do.

If he's lying about who it is then something fishy is definitely going on-but to what degree I wouldn't like to say.

She sounds like she had no idea he has a wife-the go --- your wife is indicative of a woman who's not a happy bunny!

Have you got a mobile too? Does he use his for work at all or is it just social? If it's the latter then swop sim cards over or even easier put it on silent and lose it down the back of the sofa so that you can see who's calling/texting over the course of the day for yourself.

I know it's naughty to check up on him but let's be honest, your suspicions are not going to go away now are they-especially now that the cheating antennae have gone up and he's on the radar.

Have a good snoop is my advice-here's hoping that you find out he's behaving!

If he is indeed having an affair it always catches up on the individual, people make more mistakes than they think, There just is not enough proof but IF he is it will become clear later but we all are innocent till proved so keep it full of truth/love and have a nice life together.

i think sumthing may be wrong. i mean ...the bill collector texting at 1am is a lame excuse.
basically when ur betterhalf is cheating ...u get a gut feeling. do u have it ? i wouldnt tell u to confront him as yet. as he might be on his guard. just be cautious yet snoopy.
call him up when he least expects it. especially at work.
but clear out this situation with the woman who called. ask him about it. see what he sayz.

just be cautious.

She may have said those things because she suspected it was you. You had just called her, so her gaurd was up.

Except for the lie your husband told you, I might believe it. I've received text messages from people I don't know asking me to call. Why would he lie unless he was covering up something.

it could be a inocent thing going on hear but would he lye??? i think what you should do (b4 accusing) take down her number for future refrance. maybe wait a week or so ..get his phone and send a text to say hello ect..sounding klike your husband.anythink more that " are you ok" might give it away ..see her reply.if it "who are you " then you no it was a accident..anything more than that you will no.good luck

it wasn't no wrong number honey i think something was truly going on leave it alone for a little bit and check with her a little later or ask him to see his phone if he refuses somethings up...

if this is the first experience that shows he may be cheating. I would watch real close to see what happens. if he has a history of cheating he probably was. or is.

You should talk to him decide how much you trust and love him and let your intincs and your heart guideyou.

well gurl i really dont know but from what i can read gurl you need to get him in check and just play it off but if you really do love him stay with him and give him another chance thats what i would do then if it happens again tell him that its over with dont take crap from a man trust me.
