my betterhalf cell phone beep for him to check a message last night around 1 or 2am....he said it was a voice message from a bill collector that he did not check earlier...but when I looked on the phone he did not know I saw him check it and he saw that it was a text message that said Hey call me........I got the phone and called back and it was a woman and she hung up....I called from the house phone and she laughed and said oh god...i had the wrong number...( told her I was his wife ) and why was she was texting so early...I asked 1 am in the morning? I got on the computer and text her back from his
screen name to her cell...I pretended to be him, but she kept saying she had the wrong number and to ____ your wife...now we live in MS, but the call was from UT....tell me what you all think...why would she say leave me alone and go ____your wife?

Sounds like he got caught. He may not have been physically cheating given the distance, but chances are he has been naughty on line and over the phone. She said what she said, because he probably lied to her about being married.

maybe he wants to be a traditional mormon
bottom line....
HE IS CHEATING or trying to!
Emotional infidelity IS cheating too!
Get a copy of his cell phone bill and that will be the end of your suspicions either way....
Call the company and have them send a new bill
or better yet jump on line and check it yourself
if he has sprint take his phone for an hour or two and have sprint send a text message to the phone that tells his password...use that to sign online and get into his account.
See just how many times the 'wrong number' appears.
once you have this information, confront him and watch him lie. DOnt show him your proof.
SOmetimes, that confrontation is enough to scare him. Then jump on next month and see if the phone calls have stayed the same.
also take note of the times that he calls...is it after work etc. and make a plan regarding what you want to do.

It sounds like cheating to me cause no woman or man should be receiving text msgs at 1 or 2 in the a.m. You have the proof that you need so you shouldn't even be asking us. You need to talk to him about it and if he denies it which more than likely he will just tell him that you spoke with the woman and she has a different story that she is telling maybe he will open up and be honest. If it isn't too far gone then maybe you can get counseling or some kind of therapy for your marriage. God Bless

The best thing is to confrunt him, if she says leave me alone, and she had the wrong number when you where pretnding to be him, it may have just been that, or it could have been an old friend fro per say... high scholl, who he hadnt spoken to in a while, got back in touch over phone, email, ect, and it didnt occur to tell her he has awife, now for him not stating that is a bit dumb, but im not saying thats the first thing he should say, but when saomeone ask ..how have you been, he should explain, and state he has fund a wife, and she is very beautiful, and yall are happy together.

Cheating! If you can't catch him physically, then it's definitely "emotional cheating". Look it up.
Wrong number, my a**! Check phone bills, check emails, check everything......that's how I caught my ex-husband. Good Luck.

I think it may have really been a wrong number. Either you trust your man or you don't. If he's never been to Utah and doesn't travel for a living, I'd say it was a wrong number, so calm down.Things like that do happen from time to time.

perhaps he was cheating and had not told the other woman that he had a wife. She may not have been aware that he was even married, she must feel pretty humiliated if that is the case. You must confront him.

Maybe there is something there,but u are in different states, does he travel out of town? Are there any other signs? i would say he is not physically cheating yet, but I would watch him and see if his behavior starts to change

he is cheating on u, and lying about it, personally i would not put up with it, and once they start to cheat it most likely will happen again, to avoid more heartache i would get out of the marriage, as he is never going to be truthful, and unless he is u won't be able to work on the problem.

Possibly a wrong number. Unless his dik is over a 1000 miles long, I wouldn't worry about it.
