Why was her friend called "Six" or what was she named after?

According to the series pilot, the character 'Six' was named because of the number of beers her parents drank the night of Six's conception. This minutiae was downplayed later in the series, referring to her birth order instead.

Let's see, there were her brother's Tony and Joey (he said "woah" a lot), her dad Nick and yes her friend was called "Six" perhaps this was to do with her talking six times faster than normal?
