I share the xbox 360 and we both have our own gamertag.We recently upgraded from the free month subscription but now only one gamertag is able to sign into xbox live gold.Is there anyway two people can play under the same subscription?

No you can't because only one account can be signed it at any one time. You can both play at same time as you are allowed 3 guests under one account.

If you both want to play at the same time then you are going to need another 360. You can play online with 2 xbox 360's at the same time as my son and I do all the time. You will need a router to do this though.
