the nations average has gone to a size 16 (uk) .they now say men prefer curvier fuller women,if this is true then how come if you look out your window and see a size 8 woman in a short skirt your jaw will drop but then walks past a size 16 you look the other way?? what do you prefer a fatter girl or a slim bean??

im a size 14 but im on a diet to get slimmer! i do have a boyfriend but he always stars at other women at work..then comes home telling me how noce they are.its really ****** up my confidence.im loosing weight so other men stare at me for a change and make me feel better..and so i look nice also!!lol

My wife's a 16 now-well, just over in some areas :-) as we've had two children in two years and she's battling the bulge for summer too. (So am I for that matter-mmm porridge. lol)
She was a 12 when we got together-and I'm not window shopping for a slimmer model, in fact I've never been into skinny women-Victoria beckham for example needs force feeding chips if you ask me!

I don't like it if men stare at the missus and I guess your partner won't either-lose weight for yourself if you want to but don't do it for him-if he's that shallow (and mean by telling you how they're all pretty-and implying you're not) then maybe he needs a good kick up the bum-all the way out the door!

Well if you want to play that game your going to loss. The whole idea behind trying to appeal to a larger audience and then basing our own personal opioin of ourselves on the reaction is just bs. Its a horrible way to live and it just takes advantage of frist impressions as an ego buster. Realize the reason your boyfriend is that way is because he is half animal, we all are, is that the whole being? Besides that it says alot about an individual how they keep that animal side in check and it would seem that you like the idea that some people don't check there animal. That in a certian sense its ok for you boyfriend to look and lust after other women (it isn't or else it wouldn't hurt so much) if you can have other men stare and lust after you. WRONG. Usually a good indicator of emotional muturity the ability of person to realize that the world isn't that simple. That your boyfriend there is acully quite the jackarse for not growing up and realizing that he has got one heck of girl there that he loves, despite her size, and no were he could look could hope to find a better picture. I mean wouldn't that make you feel better? Isn't love based on things we can't see? Isn't maturity the understanding that life isn't a simple game of one-up menship? Maybe you'd feel better with someone a little bit more.... man, and a little less.... boy caught up by the pretty pictures? Might help you to see how wonderful of a person you are and you'd loss the weight not because you need to, but because your killing so much energy loving yourself and being happy.
