It depends which way you look at it really.

From my point of viewI I think organised religion was invented to control the masses so if your looking at it from a religious point of view, where it is immoral, I dont think it is immoral, and I dont think it is wrong.

I think we should be taught more in school about the emotional side of it though not just the mechanical actions of it so that teenage girls and boys can have more of an informed decision.

Sex is used for so much more than the fun of it in a loving relationship in our society now, I am not married and I have sex with my partner and my previous partners and I in a way do regret some of the things I have done in the past and have had to learn to deal with them and I have only just found out what it is like to have sex with someone I truely love, and its so completely different to not love sex its unbelievable I used to think people were just being cheesy when they said about making love, but I understand now, So if the question was do you believe in sex with people just for the sake of having sex with a nother person I'd say no, and if you said do you think you should only have sex with someone you love I'd say Yes. But sex before marriage I believe for me yes it is right for me to have sex before marriage with the man I love and want to marry one day and love enough and trust enough. And if I could go back to myself when I was 16 I would tell myself that. but hey cant change the past.

i don't think theres a right and wrong way its up to each persons on convictions and believeI

my partner and i have a sexual relationship and we're not married yet (we also have 2 lovely kids)
but i must admit once i went back to my christian beliefs i felt i had made a mistake in not waiting. but i wouldn't say its right or wrong
altough thats the way its meant to be

due to the way life is its more acceptable to be living with each other or having sex before marriage.

you yourselve will no whether its right or wrong and ONLY you can decide that not a church, parents or anyone else.

I personally think it is the wrong thing to do. I think it has a lot to do with the high divorce rate in this country today. Face it, if you get married and a couple of years down the road, the sex gets a little stale or routine, you will start thinking about how it was with so and so. Before long, that remembrance turns into a desire to revisit that period of your life. Or if your wife or husband just doesn't do something quite as good as that other person did, you may want to wander back to that old acquaintance. If your wife or husband is your first and only, then they will be the best you have ever had, and you don't even consider the possibility of something else.

It is considered immoral BUT personally, I find that it's neccessary if you think sex is important in marriage. I've been married three times and yes, getting ready to get married again. My second ex wife and I didn't have sex before we got married. The sex was the worst I ever had and made me wanting... she eventually turned into a lesbian after we divorced. Now I have a g/f that I'm going to marry and our sex life is the bomb-diggety... the best we both have ever had. This is the total truth, I'm not kidding.

Because the practise of sex is not construed as a form of reproduction, but an ultimate recreational pleasure, it will always be practised whenever the urge is there. Marriage was created to legitimize child births, and nothing else.
Humans are the only animals on earth, that fornicate for pleasure, as opposed to other species who indulge in sex for reproduction only. We humans have arrived in the world of bastards. When a woman can be proud to be a single mom, I think civilization has come to an abrupt halt. It is always wrong to fornicate, unless you plan to have offspring's.

Personally I think it all depends on the way couples react to each other, some want to have sex before marriage because they think there love is very strong *GOOD FOR THEM!!!*
while others would rather want to take it one step at a time and wait for the "opputune moment" again good for them, so for me basicly I think it's both right and wrong.
e.g. Its wrong to have sex when just one of you wants to have sex, thats when all hell brakes lose and this mostly the reason why young couples finish before they even start thier relationships,
and its right when both of you want to have sex and you are extremely mature about your sex life and your entire relationship.

Dont listen to the people with the "try before you buy" attitude, that means that the SEX is why they are marrying the person, which makes no sense at all. It is your decision, just know the consequences of having sex before marriage, sex can lead you to a time of insecurity, depression, loss of self confidence and self asteem, It can destroy you, but waiting until marriage can be the greatest thing you would every do. Trust yourself and do what you think is best.

not to judge any one, but think about what you are telling the kid and what you are promoting before you say it.

sex is an important part of marriage, but there are other things that are more important like love, happiness, wealth
and so on..............

if you get married and your mate is bad in bed than teach him/her how to be good by doing what you want them to do to you. there is realy no excuse

marrige is very important
it is the foundation of a family. a person that wants to marry you because of sex is not a person you would want to get married to. think about it, do you really think that person is ready for marrige? he might be desperate or would just want to use you or what about when he gets board form being with you????

why do you think there are so many single mom's out there - God help and bless all of them

Why do you think so many people get divorce out there? Because people get married for the wrong reasons like sex
and who suffers - surely not you, but your kids do

it realy is not about believing, it's about what is right

to all the people out there think twice
alot of people get lucky and don't get any std form having sex before marriage or get pregnet, but that does not assure you that you will be lucky.

from religious point of view No, from the times we are currently living in seems that sex before marriage is not only condoned but expected, lots of times forget the marriage, but these are sad times filled with lots of lost/angry people that simply do not care! If one were to engage in sexual activities be sure there is some positive feelings with your partner.
