I am 22 yrs old, still thin and 2 months pregnant, but will be very pregnant in the summer. My husband doesn't like the idea of me showing my belly and he thinks I should wear a 1 piece. I have never worn a 1 piece and think my belly will be beautiful and all natural. What do you think?

I'm sure that you'd still look hot in a 2-piece. So we can all better judge, you should take a couple pics for comparison, post them online, and list a link on here in additional details.
Yes, you can have a pregnant belly and still look beautiful. Personally I think a shapely pregnant woman is one of the most beautiful things in the world, the pinnacle of femininity and sexiness... If you have the body for it, don't be afraid to show it off.

See how you feel when you get to that point. Who knows, the evil stretch marks may have made their appearance by then and you may opt for a one piece. Also, take into consideration where you'll be. If you're on a regular beach, who cares. But if you're in a more conservative setting (a country club or at a family gathering) consider a one piece, simply because this new trend of showing off pregnant bellies still bothers some of the more uppity types. If your husband is truly bothered by it, perhaps take into account his wishes. Opt for a two piece tankini. It will still be a two piece but it will only show a couple inches of skin versus the whole thing. Best of luck to ya!

Oh my God-Girl I wish I could of said the same thing when I was pregnant in the summer. I actually had to wear a one piece to cover all the stretch marks. I was a little embarrased because of it. I think you should wear a 2 piece bathing suit because you never know when its the last time you'll be able to show your niece tummy. A pregnant female showing her tummy in the beach or l ake looks very natural and cute. If you think you'll look good on a 2 piece why not wear it. I would if I could of. Men seem to have this thing when their gf or wife is pregnant- they just dont want anyone else to see your belly or to touch it. My husband is like that at times. Females when their pregnant look beautiful. Not saying it because I'm pregnant now. But its true, we're very attractive. I guess that's why men get jealous a little when other people look at us. lol

I found my big pregnany belly to be a beautiful site. Very round and sexy. I say show it off with a proud smile. Just be sure to wear tons of sunscreen and limit your time in the sun. The light will shine through and can disrupt the baby's sleep.

I guess you "can", but, I would think a nice one piece look better. It really would not bother me as I feel a pregnant woman has a special beauty and glow of life about her. But, many people not think as I do and I not want your feelings hurt.
A good example is over weight people in a restaurant. There are those who are hateful and inconsiderate that build their ego on the emotions of others. So, I will think you may do better with a one piece. Just my opinion.

well when you wear a 2 piece everyone can see that ur bringing a new life into the world and even more that u are comfortable in ur skin. explain to ur husband that you feel beautiful and natural when u where ur 2 piece but also take into mind that now that ur married u have to take his opinion to mind to , but i would say just to wear the 2 piece honey i bet u'll look beautiful!

i would wear a 2 piece, except for i'm getting stretch marks pretty bad, so probably not. but i'm due in may, so i wont even be pregnant with stretch marks, i'll just have stretch marks.
many many women wear 2 pieces while preggers

yeah its ok especially since your only two months. i've seen a lot of pictures of very pregnant women wearing 2 piece swimsuits. runway moms on tlc is actually largely based on pregnant women showing off their bellies in a tasteful fashion.

Being pregnant is a wonderful natural thing dont be afraid to show it. Your body is beautiful even more so when you pregnant, Show off your protruding belly and be proud.
