i need a specific answer...i heard there was 7

you just go get your permit with an eye exam they do right in line


then after there is a written test and a road test
you will get your book when you get your permit

Seven.... WHEW!
In Mo there are two parts. the written which has 25 multiple choice and then passing that gets you a permit at 15. Then at 16 you can get a provisional license that allows you to drive from 5 am to 1AM no more than 2 persons in car. Any infractions at this point can get your license suspended on the spot
But you have to pass only the driving test which is conducted with a state examiner riding with you
After 18 you get a full license

Uh... when I took my test, which was many moons ago, there was only 1. But you could only miss a maximum of 7 questions to pass. I missed 6. ;)

In Ohio there is only 1 for you temp's and you can only miss 7 questions. Mostly only the meaning of street signs and one about tread on a tire. It really isn't to hard.

when i took my test back in the 60s,you had 3 trys.
