I have been having intense pelvic pressure for the past few days. I also had a few BIG globs of mucus discharge over the weekend. I think it may have been my mucus plug. YUCK! I have painful BH contractions but I know they are just BH because they don't stay. I have been nesting BADLY for the past 3 weeks (my house looks so nice... lol). So.. with that.. how long do you think I may have? I know nobody knows and the baby will come when she is ready.. I am NOT trying to speed that along. I am just curious what others have experienced. So.. what is your guess?? Thanks

I am almost 31 weeks along.. but have a history of preterm labor. I will see my doctor about all this tomorrow. Thanks!!

Every Pregnancy/labor is different, I should know I have 6 boys. With my fourth, I was having incrediable hip pain, 2 weeks before the baby was due. So I told my husband better safe than sorry. Went in, I was a 5. They said "glad you came in otherwise you'd be having a baby on the side of a road!' LOL. They broke my water, 20 mins later my son was here.
Just keep in contact with your Doctor, and again Congrats, and goodluck!

Well, you never mentioned how far along you are first of all....
I would say within a week you'll probably go into labor. After the mucus plug, labor usually sets in with 7-10 days. BH contractions - you can have them no matter how far along you are. And since they're going away, I think that they'll start progressing into real contractions soon.

my baby was born a week after the mucus plug was lost. it sounds like you could be very close to delivery. good luck.
