How did you get started and what kind of profit are you looking at. I am not that computer literate. Is there somewhere I could find out how this whole thing works?

My boss makes maybe 10K a month. I am not computer literate, but it is basically step by step and gives you easy instructions. I sell some things on the side for extra money. Clothing, jewelry, books, etc. Look on Ebay in the Help section and basically they answer all your Q's. If not, you can email them for any info and they email you back in 24 to 48 hrs. I didn't know anything about Ebay or what it was until maybe 3 years ago. Sad I know. You can open your own Ebay store for $16 a month. Or you can set up auctions for 7 days (fees incurred). Auctions have more exposure and you are more likely to sell them. I would look up on Ebay other products similar to yours that you want to sell and see a price range you should list your item for. Any more questions? email me at fobbygirl@yahoo.com. I would be glad to help you.

A lot of what happens on Ebay is trust. You have to establish a "feedback" score. I have been doing it off and on (mostly on) for about two years, I buy and sell all kinds of things. You can learn as you go. I think there are tutorials to guide you and you can always call for assistance. Profit margin is good but it depends on what you are selling, nickel and dime it or make a mint-depends on the merchandise. Just bite the bullet and get started. You're smart enough to have found Yahoo Answers, I'm just new to this and am learning as I go.Good luck.

Its fairly simple i just started selling my old computer components but you can pretty much sell anything. Basically all you do is take a pic of your item and make a short description of it and place it on ebay with a set auction time e.g. 7 days and in 7 days the highest bidder will win your item. Easy
