3 Days after Santorini?

My boyfriend and I are going to Greece in May.

So far we are doing:
1 day in Athens
3 day tour that goes to Olympia and other sites
2 days in Mykonos
3 days in Santorini

We are looking for advice as to what we should do for our last 3 days. We wanted to do Chania, Crete, but we can't find any ferry service. Any ideas of where we can finish off our trip?

We are 25-30. If we could find a place that has something other than just beaches that'd be great.

Thanks so much for your help!

In May you have daily connections from Santorini at 17:45 to Crete (Heracleo 19:25) by Hellenic Seaways Ferrys.
Catamaran - passengers only
You can have a look and even book on line at (in your search you have to write the name of the islands not towns): http://www.danae.gr/

You didn't say where the 3-day tour will take you, other than Olympia. But I would also suggest that you spend more time in Athens. You will have 5 days in the islands and, although they are certainly worth going to and are beautiful and fun places to visit, I think you should see more of Athens. Other writers have mentioned some of the things you could do here and there truly is a lot to see and do. You should spend at least one more day in the city...take a drive (or, if you don't want to rent a car here, take a bus trip) to Cape Sounion...it's a beautiful drive along the coast. Spend an afternoon at a seaside cafe in Vouliagmeni, sipping on a frappe or a freddo (coffees)....go to Psirri or Thission or the Plaka at night, find a small (and smoky!!) club that has musicians playing rembetika music...go to a museum during the day and go dancing at night...so many options, so little time! And, keep in mind...nightlife here doesn't even really start until after 10 or 11pm and lasts until the next morning. Make a night of it and join the many other people gathering around cantinas in the morning, grabbing a quick bite to eat before heading home to sleep...or to shower and go to work!!! Whatever you decide to do with the extra 3 days, do try to work in at least another day in Athens...and May will be a really nice time of year to be here, so enjoy!!

Hi.
I also think you should go back to Athens! there is so so many things to do there.
Museums: Ancient History, Military Museum, Acropoli and the museum of Acropoli, Folkloric museum
Nice places for day coffee under the sun, like the area Mikrolimano at Pireus
Really nice shop streets - for sure Ermou str at the city center
A nice evening stroll at Plaka area, very traditional with small tavernas, restaurants and cafes.
Enjoy

Couple of suggestions for you;

Milos - Offer great diversity of unique scenery, picturesque villages and the much photograped churches of Panaghia Thalassitra between Plaka and Kastro

Naxos - an island of many facets combining a venetian heritage with impressive mountains and hillside villages and several important archaeological sites.

Go back to Athens and spend more time there. There's lots to do - museums, bars, cinemas (English with Greek subtitles) night life... One day there isn't nearly enough. It will be an excellent end to your trip.
