Im not very good at FPS on consoles, to use to mouse and keyboard on the PC. Interested to see if its a possibility now that both can be used on the PS3.

My understanding is that the GamesOS on the PS3 gives access to the USB ports and this then also makes them available to the Yellow Dog Linux.

So assuming that the devices are available very high up in the software food chain, it stands to reason that a USB keyboard and mouse would be available right down at the lowest layers where the game writers develop.

I guess the issue is whether game writers would rely on PS3 owners having USB keyboard and mouse...they are more likely to use the tilt functions in the SIXAXIS and therefore you might lose something in the gameplay if you went to keyboard and mouse.

As far as I know, it depends on the game, some games will have the feature and some won't. If you don't get a good answer here contact Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA). Go here to contact them: http://www.us.playstation.com/psp. Click on the bottom of the page where it says Contact Us. Hope this helps.
