hate to bust anyones balls but if anywhere in your answer you included "I dont wanna lose points" than you already lost your chance at best answer.

I like to question and answer. I love hearing and learning from other people their thoughts regarding subjects I already have an opinion of. But I also like to answer. I enjoy reviewing my answers to see whether or not others agree or disagree with me by looking at the ratings they give to my answer.

That depends on how much I already know about the subject in question.

If I know very little, I need to question in order to get a knowledge base established.

If I already know a good deal, I prefer to answer. I have often heard that if you think you know a lot about a subject, you should try teaching it to someone else. Being faced with someone who is seeking the knowledge that you think you have will enable you to recognize just how much you do and do not know. You often learn more as a teacher than as a student.

I like to do both. Asking questions help me find out answers to things that I can't find out myself through Google or books or people I know. Asking provokative questions is fun, to hear what different people from all walks of life have to say. Answering questions is for gaining more points so I can ask more questions, but I also like to help people who really need the help, and also I like answering thought-provoking questions.

I ask questions all the time...but most of the time not of other people. Generally people are all too willing to give you their opinions. Knowledge is always welcome however. By answering questions you often have to look up things and in the process learn something new. What I am saying is that the answer to your question is Yes??(to both)....ok so I'm a schizophrenic?

I prefer answering rather than asking a question. Asking a question requires me to instill a certain amount of trust in the person - or community - I'm asking, something I have a little trouble with.

I prefer to answer because I can be helpful and I want to share my experience. The question I ask must be very good because there are many dull questions. And people have already asked the questions that I want to ask.

I like asking questions more. Yahoo wants you to answer questions i think. You recieve a 10 point penality for asking a question, yet only 2 points for anwsering? I think people should be rewarded for questioning, or at least not penalized.

I prefer answering, but I seldom give answer because when I saw someone given a better answer, I will feel ashame and check another question. That's why I just have a few marks.

I prefer to answer questions, but I also like to ask them. To anyone who likes answering questions – all my questions are still open, and I would appreciate some answers.

I rarely have anything to ask, not because I know everything, but because I've just not been very curious lately, though, there also seems to be a lack of questions that I'll respond to, now, as well :(
