The only reason that they call wrestling gay is because that is exactly how vince mcmahon conveys wrestling.
Maybe if the quality of wrestling was good, maybe if the emphasis was more on "sports" and "athletics" and less on "entertainment", and maybe if the wrestlers were given respect nobody would have a problem.
I mean c'mon, they have skinny little old men like flair grabbing the crotch of other wrestlers, they have wrestlers come in the ring wearing drag, you have big muscular bodybuilder looking guys getting their ar*e kicked by someone two foot tall or someone that looks anorexic. Is it any wonder no one likes wrestling anymore?
I am sure that more people watch wrestling to see guys like HHH, Chris Masters, Undertaker, etc and NOT guys like Eugene, William Reegal and all the other clowns that Vince loves hiring.
Although I stopped watching it ages ago (precisely because of the above) I still have to say:
HHH IS A FUK*IN GOD!!!

I think the best approach to these types is to just ignore them. There just like the kids that I used to go to school with years ago. They cry out for attention by insulting others. The less you feed into it, the less ammo they will have. A question like this is exactly what they love to see because it means that they are getting under your skin and you're giving them the attention that they want. I mean it's just a show and I personally don't understand why they have such a big deal with a TV show. I never understood the hype behind the Sopranos, but I didn't make it my mission to insult everyone that likes it because that's just dumb and childish but that's who we are dealing with here, idiotic childish people with no life so they let a TV show dictate their every move. But it's all over yahoo answers, not just wrestling. Over in the basketball section you get people that say the NBA sucks watch_____ instead. But I like what I like and will continue to do so despite what a bunch of morons may think about.

I agree totally with you on this one.I would say to the sceptics go talk to Mickie James. If you saw her last week in her match v Melina you would know she made a genuine mistake. She botched the hurricarana & fell off the top rope & banged her head on the canvas. She wasn't acting when she was holding her neck when Ashley came in.That's why she isn't challenging Melina for the title at Mania - she has really hurt her neck.
We love our wrestling, it's entertaining & we will continue to watch. That's all that matters.

yea i do agree but everybody is entitled to their own opinion. kinda like how i feel about reality shows, i think their all fake. too much drama, that seems scripted, but wrestling although scripted it is, the punches are real, most of the time, lol, the moves are dangerous, and effective and surely do bruise them in the morning, and once and for all...the BLOOD is just what it is BLOOD. except it, shut up, or change the channel. can i get a hallelujah!

You all do do not ignore that there'll always be wrestling haters. that's some thing that those style of human beings get thier kick from!!!!!!!!!! Me in my view: I desire that could want to close up with all of it!!!!now to not practice the actual undeniable actuality that all of them look to understand a lot about the wrestling buisness. That make me ask your self in the journey that they nevertheless watch or how lengthy they use to exhibit screen!!!!!!!!! basically MY options!!!!!!!!

wrestling rocks! those non wrestling fans shouldn't even be on the wrestling section. they are idiots and weirdos. loads of people think that on the ring its all fake but thats obvisously what they say is not true because wwe is TRUE! (if you don't know what wwe mean then there no point of you being fans because wwe is a well known "stand for" thingy for wrestling fans

yes wrestling is scripted yes they practice every match and yes they all know where they are supposed to be the end of the match and who will win. that does not make it any less cool to watch and any less exciting. it is about letting go of all that for 4 hours a week and just having a good time, cheering for your favorite guys and what not. i guess what i am saying is preach on brother. i have noticed that there are people like that in every category on YA. in the tattoo section there is one guy who answers every question about tattoos with negative comments about them and how they are a sin and you will regret it in later years. i think this is against the guidlines actually.

Couldn't agree more! It's a show. It's actors with scripts. We know that. When people talk about sitcoms or dramas around the water coolers, they talk about what happened on their shows, and even quote lines. Wrestling is the same thing. So I agree, yes, it is a show, but that's what we love about it, and that's why we talk about it!

Wrestling isn't the only subject that attracts people with no respect for others here. Many answer for the points because they are not intelligent enough to answer in the other subjects.

Yep, Yep! Everything you just said is truly true. I hate it when all they do is insult the show, the wrestlers and even the fans. If they are not into wrestling they have nuthin' to do in the wrestling section.
