I mean c'mon people. When you want to say something, do you give a speech and then see if some other people can recall your ideas properly 60 years later?

because it was easier for some rich and powerful guy like King James to pay people to do it for him, so he could utilize the bible and christianty as a way to control the lower class, an undying gift that has been handed down through the ages, from one despot to another.

Jesus knew how to read and write, what are you people crazy?

Matt 19:4 " have ye not READ, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female"

Luke 4:4 " it is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."

Luke 4:15-20 "and he taught in their synagogues being glorified of all.....he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day and stood up for to read..............delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. and when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written..................and he closed the book and he gave it again to the minister and sat down............."

John 8:6 "........But Jesus stooped down and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not."

John 8:8 " and again he stooped down and wrote on the ground"

I don't know why he didn't write anything...... but he could read and write, he was also a carpenter so he could measure add/subtract, estimate the cost of a job, adjust prices, quality, and services to compete in the market.

As a Rabbii I am sure he wrote plenty. The situation was more about what he did in the last 3 years as opposed to the first 30. Is GW looked at for his writtings or daily comments and actions?

Who says he didn't. Many scholars believe that given the similarities between the text of the gospels even though they were written decades apart, suggest their must have been a central piece of document that the authors copied from when recalling Jesus's teaching. The document is usually referred to as the Q document. But if it exist its been lost to history.

Probably because the son of a carpenter was not taught how to read and write in those days. To go to school one had to be wealthy. Jesus was not wealthy and thus unable to go to school. Speeches were remembered in those days because most people could not read or write. In order for things to be passed along people had to remember.
