Have you ever been talking to someone on the phone and wanted .......?

to hang up but they keep talking so you grab your cel phone and call yourself and say " ohh hey look I have another call coming in" ?

No ! I just tell them, I really have to go now, We'll talk another time !

No. But once, I was in the car and trying to drop off a friend of a friend. She wouldn't leave. She kept talking. So, my friend in the passenger seat called my cell phone, I answered it and had a fake conversation. It was an emergency and HAD to go. She still didn't leave for another five minutes. Some people just don't know when their welcome is up.

I have only the cell phone and when someone is doing that, I just hang up and say the call was dropped.

I shouldn't even admit this but,..... I have gone and rang the doorbell and excused myself form the conversation under the false pretense of having to answer the door to someone. LOL.... OOPS! Sorry. I can't stand being on the phone for hours.

Yes I get the urge to do it.
I have done it many times before.
I cant stand being rude and telling the person I'm talking to I dont want to be on the phone anymore

hey that is a very good idea.
but i usually use this one - i go outside and ring my door bell and say that there is someone at the door. bye. catch u later.


and that later never comes until that person calls me back.

No, but I have said I had a beep and switched over like I was answering it, then come back and tell them I have to go! That's terrible I know, but sometimes people just repeat themselves over and over and.................
