I don't think it would be a waste of money at all. You do have to keep in mind that in the gamecube game it is harder to make money quickly. The NES games are a excellent feature to the game. If you do get the gamecube one, make sure you get either a new one or one with a memory card (the new has one). The save file takes up 59 blocks, and so a 59 block memory card comes with the new ones. If you decide that you don't like it, just erase the file and you'll have room to save many other games.

Yes, since the one you have is not only better, it's portable, wifi, and you already have a huge head start. Buy Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Metroid Prime 1/2, WindWaker, Twilight Princess (for either console), Trauma Center (Wii), or Warioware:Smooth Moves (Wii).
EDIT: While I can't deny what the other answerers said, I still want to stress that you already have the better version, and there are far far better gamecube (and Wii) games out there. Consider all your options, that's all I ask.

No I don't think it's a waste of money. I have both Animal crossing for DS and the Gamecube version. I like the Game cube version because in the game, you can find NES games and you actually get to play them. They are some times hard to find but you will find a NES game eventually. You put them in your house like you would furniture and you can play with them.

To play GameCube games on the Wii you will also need a GameCube controller. Unless you plan on buying other GameCube games it seems a waste to have to buy a controller for just one game, especially if you already have it on another console.

the animal crossing for the ds is almost exactly like the cube version, but it's moreimproved and has more items and things to do, kinda like pkmn red and fire red, but buy a wireless cube controller so you can play cube games, email me
greenflame911@yahoo.com and i will tell you some other differences at animal crossing, and some hints that can help you, like the immortal turnips, which never rot

Yeah, it's a fun game, plus you get a feature that they chose to leave ourt of the DS game. You can play NES games.
But, I'm pretty sure you can play gamecube games with the classic controller attachment.

nicely, this sport is o.k. on my own, in spite of the undeniable fact that it easily relies upon once you've others acquaintances which have the WiFi connectivity and the game besides. Animal Crossing looks a nicely-loved sport on the prompt, yet i imagine that's in undemanding words real because of a lot of human beings taking section in it with one yet another. in my view, i respect this sport, yet when i did not have my acquaintances to play it with, i'd basically likely provide it away on the prompt.
