I am not a CFA but am taking the first level exam soon. I guess one reason why I would like being a CFA someday is the prestige it carries with it, so once you're there... I guess that's something to be proud of.
On top of that, a CFA is not particularly a job per se, but rather a recognised industry standard for financial professionals. Most likely, you would have to be comfortable with the mathematical aspects of it to "enjoy" being a CFA.
