I'm 18 years old. It is not often that I am actually attracted to someone, but it seems whenever I am they are always older than 30 years old. I do not find younger guys attractive in any way, shape or form.
My boyfriend is 36 years old, and it bothers everyone else but I think he's perfect ... age and all.
Just wondering if it is really THAT unusual for an 18 year old to just ... not like anyone under 30?

I have dated men my age. I simply don't find myself having anything in common with them.
My 36 year old boyfriend and I have the same exact interests in every aspect. It is like we are the same people.
I have a father who was always present and still is present. I am not looking for a father type. My father is 53, also. So it's not the same thing.
Also? My boyfriend has never been married, or has any kids that could be my classmates.

No, as they say, age is just a number. And if your having fun, then thats all that matters. Lot's of younger women date older men for the maturity aspect. It only bothers people because there jealous or don't have the nerve to try something different themselves. I'm almost 50 and have had women your age tell me they would date me. That always brings a smile to my face. Good luck.

It's fine...you are not alone. I know quite a few gals who only date older men. Everyone has their own preference. Tell everyone else to mind their own business, not yours.
My fiancee is 15 years younger than me. We've been together for over 2 years and will be married this spring.

I mean, I don't see what you all can have in common?
What type of conversations do you all have?
And then, what can you offer a man that is over 30?
I am sure these men probably have children that are your classmates.
You could be getting used and too naive to even recgonize it.
Be careful out there, you are only a baby....

nope its perfectly natural the guy i like is way older than me by like 20 years but hay u will either get over it or find out ur perfect together!

Maybe try even older? You just may love it....
