Rumsfeld resigned. The President did not ask him to. There is a difference. President Bush will not ask Gonzalez to tendered a resignation, if Gonzalez chooses to quit that is a different story.

They aren't saying he WONT be replaced.

They are saying he SHOULDN"T be replaced, and they are right.

Funny thing, the person leading the charge to fire him is Hillary Clinton.

She didn't have a problem with firing federal prosecutors for political reasons when her husband fired ALL of them in 1993.
