i TOTALLY go all out for it!! i was the grudge girl. my husband was an ape.

I like halloween, but I can't seem to go all out for is as i would like

I love it. I go out I take my step daughter! We have a good time. My son will be 1 this halloween I cant wait

I used to decorate the house and the lawn and dress up myself (always a witch... :-) ) to give out candy. We would give out treats for a while and then I would take my daughter trick-or-treating in the neighborhood to people we knew. When we got back, we would continue giving out the goodies until the stash ran out. It was fun for everybody - we got to see the neighbors and their kids and tell them what a nice costume they had.... They were polite and thanked you too....
But after a couple of years it seemed to change. There were these car loads of folks pulling up - who I had never seen before in my natural life. It seemed like it was a part-time job for them - like selling vacuums.... They go from block to block for hours hoarding as much as they can. The parents drop the kids off at one end of the block and do a slow roll following them - then drive on to the next block... LOL - the kids don't even say "Trick-or-Treat" or wait for you to put something in their bulging bags... just stick their nasty lil hands right into the bowl, shovel as much as they can into their sacks and run to the next house....
Nope, I don't decorate anymore but I do keep two bowls of candy by the door. The "good stuff" for the kids from around here - and the cheap hard candy for the roving bands of beggars.....
I did say I dress as a witch... right?

i LOVE Halloween, and i give it everything ive got..........
i havent missed a single Halloween, and im 20.........
i even dressed up for school..........every single year of high school lol.........
this Halloween im thinking of being Britney Spears and showing my fake **** to everyone...........
but its a long time from now and i could change my mind

I don't like I did when I was young because of all of the weird stuff and what it represents in general. The ONE thing I still like...how the little kids dress that you hear about.

I like it, but i don't usually dress up unless I have a party to go that does not involve pre-schoolers. I do dress my son up really good, though :)

It's not my favorite holiday but I do enjoy dressing up in a scary costume.
