no, everything these days is censored:how we talk dress act perform socalize....., no one can ever be free in this society unless they have no thoughts and opinions of their own, V for Vendetta sums it up nicely, most people tend to believe whatever is passed off by the government and the ordenary as correct,
ex: BMI, police having all rights over a suspect, being charged for health care when it is nessarcery, having a Miss Black America when black women compete in the original version and having a Miss White America would be seen as racist, saying certain words that only considered wrong because of legacy as being seen as bad, hiding human body parts from public views therefore saying the human body is offensive to other humans, to force anerexics into treatment centers against their will but allow morbidly obese people to walk freely, to make a living as a paprazzi stocking people like criminals and turning them in charectcartures and making up serious issues about them, saying sex is evil eventhough it is how human existance is possable...........,
I could go on forever with these.
We have no freedom and will not until all people start to think logically with their own minds and stand up for what is right.

In britain no, we have never been a free society and the way things are going what little freedom we have will be taken away from us by those who ""know better". Our lives have become more controlled and watched since those criminal scum new labour came to power. Socialists are always about control, its about time we stood up for ourselves and threw the bas**ds out.

the u . s . is merely a sufferer of very own fulfillment. there's a communication coach host who went homeless for a week. What he got here across you should paintings especially darn confusing to starve. human beings interior the West greater often than not and united statesa. specially have each and every of the fundamentals nutrients, look after heat temperature, amusements. evaluate that to life interior the 1800's or perhaps the 1920's. it is not a controversy of persons being lazy it is merely human nature, it is plenty much less complicated to have the somebody else preserve your fundamentals than as Dave Ramsey might say flow out and kill it your self. so which you may have time for the different stuff.

Depending on each individual's definition of what a free society is. What we take for free & easy some might consider restricting or unreasonable.

Difficult. I feel like I'm made to feel I'm free when in reality I'm only free to make the choices dictated by society.
I mean, you always have a choice, but your penalised heavily for the ones that "they" (that's as good of way as I can think of putting it) don't approve of and don't help to continue the overall cycle of society as we know it.
So in short, no, I don't.

There is no such thing as FREE SOCIETY. We are all bound by certain rules - both written and unwritten....
The totally free society was when man lived in jungles i.e. pre-civilisation era. Then he would do as he pleased.......
not any more.

you are free to do as you are told.
Actually as we are often told that we live in a 'free' society, the west is one of the most unfree places in the whole world, nowhere else has the level of monitoring of your every move as much as the west does.
it makes me sad when i see people calling out for ID cards for themselves, they want even MORE social restrictions placed on them???

Not at all. Take for example work. We actually go to work to pay for our own leisure time. Even our so called 'free time' isn't free.
