You may want to see if you qualify for any kind of medical leave or short term disability through your employer if the hormone treatment is interfering with your ability to do your job. Unemployment however, is not available to people who voluntarily leave their jobs.

Unemployment is designed for people who have lost their jobs and are having trouble finding work, not for people who quit because they are depressed and want to become lazy and sulk over their problems!
Sounds like you need some talk to someone professional. Find a therapist, take some time off, etc. Look into FMLA, Family Medical Leave Act. It is designed to help people with medical problems due to their families, they can take as much time off as they need to deal with their situation and cannot be fired for it. However, your time off is not paid.
If your not sucessful at getting pregnant, you could be trying too hard and your depression could actually be hindering the progress. Take care of yourself and whats meant to happen will happen in it's own time.

You can't take unemployment benefits, they are so unfair to peolpe who actually work. We shouldn't pay your way.
Speak to a doctor about the side affects you are having, there will be a solution. I have suffered with depression, you can fix this so stay positive and don't give into it by staying in bed all day.

You can not quit and take unemployent. They have to let you go in order to collect and no be fired. Say if a company downsizes and does layoffs then you can collect. But you can't screw around get fired and then collect, that is not how it works

Depend on your job & the state you are in
you should talk to your doc
also remember that if your job provide you with health insurance you might not want to quit or lay off at the moment
