I have been ordering shrimp/beef/chicken with broccoli or sesame chicken lately and didnt try anything else at all. Anybody have some good suggestions?

Go to a Chinese buffet and try all sorts of things. Generally, I hate buffets, but in Chinese restaurants I have no clue what to order. So I like buffets in that situation . . . most every Chinese restaurant in America has one for exactly that reason!

Mongolian Beef or Lamb
Honey chicken with extra sesame seeds
Special fried rice with chunks of chicken instead of prawns
Prawn chips for later!

i like bami goreng,fu young hay,shark fin
soup and loempia special.
be aware that in the chinese kitchen are many variants,depending on where that restaurant is located, i am a european and for example,the british, french and dutch chinese restaurants are different in there dishes,
and influenced by the type of oriental food the population is used to,and there kitchen modified to attract the most costumers,
but try to keep it chinese,as much as is aloud in there point of view.
many serving also western dishes,but not very well done,and should not be expected
to order.(only idiots ordering western food in a chinese restaurant)
in france the dishes are more vietnamese
in the uk more indian
in holland more indonesian, ect.

I'm more of a spicy entree eater, so I tend to go with General Tso's or Kung-Pow Chicken...but the level of spice can really vary. If I'm unsure, the Garlic or Pepper meats tend to be ok at worst.
Roast duck can either be heavenly or utterly disappointing, so if you're feeling adventerous, go with that.

I like to get all white meat cashew chicken. I think everything is better when you get all white meat. It's a little more expensive. But, I think it's worth an extra buck or two.

i get orange chicken, broccoli beef, or chicken with mushrooms. Always with Chow Mein(I also no matter what get orange chicken!)
