Chiang Kai-shek
EDIT: I just read some of the subsequent answers, and I feel compelled to add this: -
[1] Chiang Kai-Shek was THE leader of the Chinese against the Japanese in WW2.
[2] Mao Zedong (named as an alternate leader in some answers) did not regard the Japanese as his enemy. In fact, he insisted that his Communist followers should cooperate with the Japanese as much as possible, controlling the countryside where the Japanese controlled the cities, but avoiding conflict as much as possible. Under Mao's leadership, the Chinese Communists fought just one major battle against the Japanese in the whole of WW2 (and he was furious with his generals for having done even that). Mao regarded the Japanese invaders as a blessing, because they would weaken Chiang Kai-Shek's forces, and keep them from crushing his Communists. As usual, as throughout his entire life, Mao did not care one bit for the suffering of the Chinese people under Japanese invasion: he only cared for his personal ambition to become the master of China.
If that is your definition of a "leader", you're welcome to him.
