First child was born 2 weeks before the due date. 2nd child was born 1 week after due date. And the 3rd child was born same day as due date.

Hey! My due date is May 28th, too! Everyone is saying the same thing! I look like a swallowed a house boat.
Unfortunately, the estimated due date is just an approximation. It could DEFINITELY be "give or take" about two weeks (but really, with ultrasound technology, that's the most it's usually off unless the fetus is really small or large for its gestational age).
The baby still has about ten weeks to turn. If it hasn't turned by week 35, THEN they start to worry.
Congrats, and good luck.

I'm surprised your doctor didn't calculate the due date by the baby's development. That is usually more accurate than your period, as you may ovulate sooner or later than is considered average (14 days after period). I would ask again about the ultrasound and the baby's development. My baby came on his due date, (I was induced) but he was 39 weeks developed, not 40, so you never know.
If this is your first child, it will probably take you longer to go into labor, but if it's your second or more, it might be sooner. I wouldn't judge your stomach size either, just that of the baby. He or she will come when ready. Good luck! The time will be here before you know it.

I went exactly 2 weeks early. I always knew I was in the next week of my pregnancy by the day of the week which was a Thursday. I had my son on a Thursday. I was big in my pregnancy so I thought I would of had him earlier. Thought my due date was wrong also. Which I think they tell women they can go 2 weeks early without any complications because of the possibility of giving a wrong due date. I put on 68 pounds in my pregnancy. Some say it is because I was low in wt. to start off with. I lost all of it though so if you have put on too much weight due not worry because you most likely will loose it. I think a lot of mine was water wt. and that my blood pressure rose in the end. So maybe he came early because of the fact that the womb was changing. Don't worry. Your baby will come before you know it and you will be able to look at the precious baby you cared for in the womb for 9 months. Congratulations!

Due dates are greater of a sturdy "guess". no longer all toddlers come on their due date, and possibilities are high you wont have it on that particular day. i'm due Dec.twenty 6th with toddler #3. i became precipitated with the two one in each and every of my others, and could request an identical this time with a date of Dec.nineteenth-22th...that way me and toddler would be homestead on Christmas Day. we've an entire end of the 300 and sixty 5 days lol dates are as follows: wedding ceremony Anniversary:August thirteenth Husbands Birthday: September eleventh(no kidding!) My Birthday: October seventeenth Daughters Birthday: November 2d Sons Birthday: December 4th New toddler: Due December twenty 6th (?? in all possibility set off a week early)

I was that way with my first. Everyone swore I had to eb a full month ahead of what the doctor said. She was born about 8 1/2 pounds, went into labor 7 days before my official due date, she was born 4 days before due date. My second, a son(12 years later), was born at just over 9 pounds, 11 days passed his due date. I had preterm labor, was 1 cm dilated at 20 weeks with him, but had to threaten him with induction before he woudl come-had an induction scheduled 4 days later.

Hi
1st...
your baby still has plenty of time to flip head down so try not to worry too much
my baby was breech as well....at 38 weeks they flipped him over from the outside and he stayed thankfully.after that it gets too tight to try.
as far as my due dates..
my 1st-this is the little guy who was breech and flipped was due 0ct 28 and born Nov 9th...2 whole weeks.it makes me mad that they let me go that long. i see all the time on tv that you shouldnt go past your due date b/c the placenta gets old. he has a lot of neurological issues and I wonder if this had anything to do with it.
my 2nd was due march 9th and came on the 11th.
not too bad....
you still are due at the end of may though you may be having a large baby.

Depends on your cycle length, my last period was 8/17/06 but my due date is May 26. I coceived around 9/1/07(I have longer cycles).
Everyone keeps telling me I look bigger than 31 weeks too, which I hate hearing, I have already gained 30lbs. but is is all belly. My uterus is measuring 2 weeks over as well. But she thinks that is because he is a big baby. Good luck...I hope mine comes closer to mid May

My son was actually taken two weeks early..my due date was March 22, 2006 but he was taken March 8th due to me having Eclampsia. My SIL is now 34 weeks, but her belly is rather large too. We all joke about twins, but she recently went for another ultrasound, and they cleared her of that. I do hear though that they can deliver up to a week early if oyu are worried about the size.

The due date is only a estimate you can go into labor two weeks before or two weeks after that date. I was induced with my first son but with my second my due date was April 2 and my son was born March 30th.
