please answer this if you are a British Muslim Only! This is not to affend anyone.
I want to see how many muslim sisters/brothers actualy think that muslims girls require to wear a nikab to school whether it primary or secondary. I think its fine to wear a scarf.

Most of the muslim girls attend an all girls high school. Were I went, girls would wear a veil/nikab until they got to the school door. once inside the entrance they would take it off and wear a scarf through thier lessons and activites. They removed it for P.E. for safety reasons.

This is a kind and friendly question and I dont hope to affend anyone.

why would you want to wear a nikab during lessons? would you only wear it infront of male teacher?

do you feel any pressure in any way?

leave your religion at the door when you go to a publicly funded place
otherwise, someone could say they have to carry their sword into school because of their religion
God is not concerned with veils, have your daughters dress modestly and you will please God

from where i came from
all primary and secondary school students whethere muslims or not are required to wear the standard school uniforms. there is no such issue on this .. btw the majority of muslims here do not wear nikab .. just the normal headdress or hejab.or dont wear at all .
to me its the ability to adapt to the situation ..
i really cant imagine siting in class with niqab ..

I agree with you i don't think its neccessary to wear it in the classroom, as it just makes it awkward for the teacher when their trying to help you, but i don't think that their are many muslim girls who even wear the niqab at school. This is a very small percentage so why are they even making an issue out of it, seriously don't they have anything else to worry about.
