Please seperate them as soon as possible , The syrain may be if its fertile stage and so accept any other animal. When this finishes it will return to its normal atacking self. So please seperate them Now.

They could be getting along...for now. I have several hamsters and the separate breeds rarely get along, the only time one got along was an adult Russian and a rovo, which are small tiny ones, and the two of them were raised together and the Russian thought it was her baby, but i did end up separating them. I would advise you to separate. It is up to you, just think of the possibilities if you don't.

They wanna have wild sex with each other. They've probably been ogling you a lot lately and since there's no female hamster around they have to do each other.

You're not going to watch that are you? Are we going to be seeing a video of it on YouTube next week?

well your a lil immature... no animal can be classed just by its breed, its like the pit bull thing. i work at a pet store and we have all sorts of odd, against-the-species matches happening. most of the rats, when they get into the mice cages tear the mice apart, but we have one who escapes repeatibly to get into the mouse cages, and never hurts them. we mix species of hamsters all the time when we have lack of space, and each one takes a liking or a disliking to random other rodents. watch them, but if there is no problem, let them be friends. a pet with a companion lives longer.

please put them in separate cages. they dont always immediately fight but they will eventually. usually to the death. dwarfs can be housed togther, but not syrians with ANY kind of hamster. to keep them together is inhumane. if your dwarf is that old please let him live out his life without fear.

as for the scent, if it is the one in the cage it is probably him marking his territory or could be as suggested that it is in heat.

please separate them permanently.

Uhm, I believe this is incredibly immature, I really doubt your hamsters are gay, that is pretty ridiculous

nicely I ought to assert which you ought to objective them into the mirror or placed cages at the same time and notice how they act. final yet no longer least you ought to hold them on your hands and carry them head to head yet have a to no longer tight yet to no longer loose grip on the two.
