Trade World Of Warcraft Currency?

I have like 600 gold on Hakkar alliance is it possible to trade that gold to someone for like 600 gold on Mugthol horde or is that against the rules?

i dont believe you can trade over servers. but if you found someone on the hakkar server and someone on the mugthol server that might work. but chances of that are slim.

Nah that's not possible right now.

I have a workaround for you... but it's going to cost you a bit.

You can sell your gold to a third party service then use the money to buy the same amount of gold for a character on the Mugthol server so you can make the trade. Hope that helps.

Since the selling rate is usually a little lower than the buying rate you would have to spend a little more dollars to transfer the whole thing. But at least you can get it somewhere.

Helping one another is never against the rules. It just depends on how you do it.

The person above me gave you a bad way to do it though. Blizzard is strickly against buying and selling gold, and can close your account if they discover the action.

Best options: (most work, but at least its above board) is to:

- either find a character player on the server you want to be on who wants to switch servers as well, you both do paid character transfers, but offer each other your gold before the switch, and have a trusted guild member act as an escrow agent for you (holding bank)

- or you can look for well established guilds on your future realm and see if they have any "sister guilds" on your server, like a fraternity chapter has multiple chapters. They may be not only willing to offer you a position in their guild, but give you the gold you need, if you give up your gold to their sister guild on your existing realm. Its a looong shot, but its worth 600g no?

- all else fails, just do a paid character transfer, and spend a week using your skilled up professions to farm gold. Also, download the UI MOD Autioneer and Bottom Scanner. Auctioneer is great for always knowing pricing, but Botton Scanner is a killer way to find items selling WAAAY below market value and reselling them for the right value

(i.e. there are newbs who sell blue items for a couple gold, bottom scanner will find those, buy them and resell them for the right price, instantly profiting multiple gold left and right. you should be doing this regardless of the other options!)
