where do all the 'good girls' go?

Question

just curious...what happens to good girls and where are they??...ok, good is a relative thing and its not really what am asking... a better word might be 'simple girls', you know, girls who dont like to go out and get drung, who dont like to spend hours gossiping with their girlfriends about guys, who are not radical feminists, who dont change partners as they change their shoes...i know us guys can be assholes to and its probably what drove girls to be this way, but still...where are those honest, sweet, down-to-earth kinda girls?

thanks for all your answeres, just to clarify, am not intimidated by clever women and the like, and am not talking about normal feminists campaigning for womens rights (i mean who the hell gave men the right to not allow women to vote etc)..i am talking about girls who see men as sex objects the same way many men see women only as sex objects...i am at campus and am down coz it seems that all the girls around me are like that, and its sadley a growing trend.. they are just poisned by bad relationships or abusive fathers, and the best thing a man can do to make them happy is to chop his balls and grow a pair of ovaries!!! they hang around in all-girls groups, flirt openley with strange guys...and YES it DOES feed my insecurity....there is no shame in admitting to that because I dont like to do what they are doing , i dont like to get drunk, to sleep with a woman on the first night etc etc

they're around, you could just be looking in the wrong places. If you don't want a girl who goes out and gets drunk don't try to pick one up in a bar. Women who tend to be overly promiscuous are usually easier to spot, you can tell by the way they will interact with you if they only wanna get in your pants (just like guys do). Give yourself a new atmosphere, go to places you would like to go to but may have not been yet (i.e. coffee shops, campus events etc.) and that will give you the opportunity to meet and surround yourself with new and different people. One thing I have learned though is don't look too hard bc a great person will come along when you least expect it! But make sure you put yourself out there and give the opportunity to meet them and for them to meet you.

Where have you been all life? Why can't I find a guy like you? I've never been drunk before, I don't go to parties as I've never been interested in that type of thing. I don't date because I can't find anyone who likes the same thigs I do. Its depressing. I live in a small town and the only thing there is to do is get drunk and go to parties. That life isn't for me. I like the quiet simple life. I like to read and listen to music and hang out with my best friend or my family on the weekends. Some people might say thats lame and it probably is but I've never wanted to be cool in the first place.

Girls are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. The boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

Well I'm sure there are plenty of feminist girls who are sweet - are you intimidated by an intelligent woman, or just mistaken? Just wondering why you chose to qualify that in particular.

Anyway. As far as girls who don't like to go out and get drunk or talk with their girlfriends, you either need

a) a girl who is slightly older than the drunks - maybe in her late twenties, early thirties - they've usually outgrown that phase

b) a nerdy girl with no friends

c) an unattractive girl - unfortunately, they tend not to have a lot of friends or be properly socialized (b/c our society values women for their looks first and foremost, unattractive women tend to not have a lot of friends and are usually socially awkward - hey, this is a women's studies forum, it's relevant).

Well, you got your answer in you r question, not out getting drunk, or gossiping with whatever, they're around. Working, making money to live instead of spending it on drinking which will obviously lead to binging and lots of money to hospitals when their livers stop working...

Gym, restaurants, Libraries, offices...

My brain is kind of going blank, and those are some of the places i can think of.

depends what you define as good.
If good means "not drinking, not gossiping, not manipulating" look for them in the library, in the coffee shop, volunteering, playing sports.
If it means "majoring in MRS degree, not interested in sex, wants to knit and loves babies"- fortunately, they are few and far apart. Try finding one in a church- they are usually the type who goes to church.

college girls, like high school girls, are shallow. not that older women aren't shallow, but MOST college and high school girls are shallow. the feminists movement is partially responsible for making them this way. the goal of the feminist movement is to make it so that girls can satisfy their sexual and emotional desires to the fullest at any cost. meaning they want girls to be shallow and they want girls to be immoral. they feel it is every girl's right to only go for cute and popular guys and then marry a guy with a lot of money and have affairs with 19 year old boys.
