Karley, my partner has actually just had a son with a lesbian couple. It was planned to be a mutaul visitation, but has unfortuanly turned out to be a problem. The mothers keep him, and we have a hard time seeing him. We basically get to see him when they decide we can. We've actaully had to get a lawyer, because we really want to spend more time with him. So I would say that if you are planning to do it please please please get a lawyer invoved from the beginging, or get papers written up on the stepulations on vuisitationa and involvement. If you need anymore information, please email me. I wish the best of luck.

As a lesbian couple who have been discussing the whole baby issue for a number of years now,I would prefer someone who was a close friend to be the donor, somebody who already knew our views & politics on things and vice versa. I wouldn't mind if they were part of another gay couple,or if they were single, just as long as they were a responsible, mature, level headed individual who shared our parenting views. But until the right 'donor' was around and we are 100% sure we wanted to do this then we will wait.It needs a lot of discussion, and a lot of thought beforehand.

If adoption were to be too difficult, I wouldn't mind finding a gay couple to help my girlfriend and I have a baby. I would leave it up to whichever of the guys donated his sperm to decide his involvement. I read a story a few years ago about this very thing happening in California and it worked out well for both couples. It would be no different than parents divorcing and remarrying other people.

Getting another couple involved is like starting a four way relationship. That could be risky. And we are talking about a child's life. I think it could happen- but it would mean lining the stars and planets up perfectly.

I think an donor would be best. No strings.

I have 2 kids of my own, I was married and I had the kids with my wife, at the time. If I were to want any more kids, I would adopt. There are a lot of kids out there that need somebody. I would rather help them.

no gay couples would prefer to adopt.

im strait but know a gay couple and they would rather help out another child that has been abandoned when a baby then to get another couple involved and have that couple in their lives.

its much safer for a couple to adopt a child than drag another couple into it and have them a part of thir lives for good

I presonally would parent them with just my partner, and maybe just ask for help from other friends. So id rather adopt. As it be hard to decide who donates what!

If I ever did want to have kids, I would go with an anonymous donor. No fuss, no strings.
