You all are going to have to compromise on this one. How about if you ask her to snuggle just for a little while, five or ten minutes, but then you have to let her go so she can sleep.

This brings amusing memories, because I've complained the same exact thing to my husband! But what my husband did for me is that he was very patient, and allowed me to find a comfy position to snuggle with him. I think I'm a bit "claustrophobic" because depending on how he hugs me, I sometimes feel like I can't breathe. So he lets me hold him or I lean on his chest to enable more breathing room for myself. It's the sweet part of marriage - trying to understand each other's likes and dislikes, and how to work your way around it in a respectful and loving manner.
Have you tried talking to your wife about how you feel? My husband had prayerfully done so, and it really made me more aware of his emotional and physical needs. Be honest, but don't be harsh. Love is patient and unconditional. And just to reassure you, we women do appreciate it when our husbands are open and honest with each other, especially when it comes to subjects like marital intimacy. God bless you and your wife and I hope this helps. Happy marriage!

I think your wife is a lucky lady. I wish my husband wanted to snuggle in bed.

Beds a bad place to have any arguments...Back off some, not much, talk to her and explain that for some unknown reason you need that type of comfort and see how the two of you can change to make this and other things work in your marriage. Good Luck

im usually the one who snuggles up with my partner before closing my eyes to sleep, but in your situation uhm i'd like to suggest this.. once you both lay down side by side, whisper to her your love, make sure she hears it thou and just sneak closer to her touching her lightly. make sure your face is near hers and give her a light kiss on the neck.
