Just like every other rip-off that New McLabour have encouraged - more from the Greedy Taxgrabber Brown - do we want him as P.M. - Hell No.

It in your own words a disgrace, My partner was in hospital last year. The bus service intermittent at the best of times, and the hospital 15 miles away Parking £1.50 an hour. This hospital is in the middle of nowhere there is no office's near by for people to block it, if not visiting the hospital. Yes a rip off for poeple who are already concerned for the well being of loved one's.

Sorry? Have I missed something?
Oh I see, I agree it is disgusting that you have to pay. I took my sister to A&E last year, and didnt even think of parking as it was 3am in the morning, and she couldnt breathe. She was transfered by ambulance to a different hospital a long long way away by ambulance, and I went with her.
Only about 3.30pm did I remember about the car sat in the car park probably getting abused by traffic wardens. I called the hospital and explained, and they said it was fine, and I wouldnt get any tickets. That bit I thought was good!

It is really bad that patients have to pay to park at hospitals, but if the parking was free all the staff would fill the car parks up. Only certain medical staff get parking permits, the rest have to pay or catch the bus.

which car park is this?
i think car parks in hospitals are too expensive. i was in hospital 11 weeks when i had my baby in a city that was 20 miles away from my home and family. this cost a fortune.
my mum's house is just round the corner from Derby's new, massively extended hospital she is being froced to pay the council £50 a year to buy a parking permit for outside her own house to deter visitors parking outside her house!!

it's a reasonable charge for parking a hospital in a car park.

I strongly agree.
But just think how much they could have really made if the thousands that couldn't get a parking space had paid as well!!!

There is hardly sa Government department, or sponsored Government department that has not got in on the act of daylight robber of the public.
What's worse is that we let them get away with it.
