The judges put Sanjaya Malakar into the top 24. Now Simon is threatening to quit if he wins.
First this show makes him soooo much money he aint goin nowhere!
Second is this just a publicity stunt to get more people watchin (& voting). [if this is the case ~ that is low on Simon's part to destroy this kids confidence to get a little richer]
Third lets hold Simon to his promise and keep Sanjaya and let Simon go!

Firstly...Simon is not going to quit and secondly Sanjaya is not going to win.
All this talk is part of celebrity world and publicity stunt as you say.

Sanjaya is bad, and if he keeps going I hope all the judges walk off....
But I wish people would be as concerned with our country as much as they are over this TV Show.
By the way Taylor Hicks is almost as bad, and he won and he really has gone no where. So in long run this may be the start of the end of American Idol because if they don't figure a way to have a real vote it will be the end of the show.
Make people pay 1.00 to vote and give it to charity!!

if i were simon, i would quit. sanjaya is a queer and shouldn't have even been put in the top 24. he sounds so horrible when he sings and i hope simon quits if he does when because by him winning it would show that there are stupid people in america who like to see good people go down. the good singers deserve a chance and with the people worshiping sanjaya just because they want 2 be cruel and see the show go up in smoke, they can't have a chance. so go simon, i'm behind u all the way

Considering Simon Cowell owns American Idol, I would say if Americans should vote for Sanjaya, then American Idol would be pulled from the states and we would only hear of the other Idol shows from around the world.

Sanjaya is only still in the running due to votefortheworst. In the unlikely event he should win who(beside his family and friends )would buy his music? It is cruel for votefortheworst for making him think he has star qualities.Will those voters buy Sanjaya's music. Simon tells the truth, same as it would be told in front of any audition.

Simon will never quit, no matter who wins; it's all about money.
For all you people that are sabotaging the show by voting for the worst singer, is totally wrong.
I am sure if the worst won does win because of a web site, they will change the way the voting is done. Maybe only the judges will vote, and that would be a lot better then the way it is going now.

OMG Noooooooo!!! Sanjaya is just horrible! I cant EVEN believe he's still on! I love Simon...he says it like it is..I agree with him about 98% of the time...why bullshit the contestants?
