if some one told u they lived in the projects do you automaticly think its the ghetto? do you ever think theres a positve side to it? is there a real meaning of the word projects?

Government housing projects. Not all are ghetto, but most ghettos are projects.

Its very sad really..Look the problem is that the US needed to take the same tack as Canada as far as public housing is concerned. Now its a very complex subject but to cut a long story short. In Canada public housing is interspersed with private, Rich are mixed in with poor, People do no know off hand whether you own or rent your house, But when you build these decrepit buildings and fill them up with unemployed welfare recipients then you have created a ghetto

yeah, i think ghetto when i hear projects. subsidized housing. Section 8 vouchers all that good ****. i don't know where the word came from tho
