Every spring I go throught the same ordeal, finding someone who has a hobbyist level of gardening knowledge and wants to work about twenty hours a week for $12 to 15 an hour. Usually I manage to get someone thru the summer months, but they start getting flakey on me around fall and I usually end up having to find a landscaping firm to get ready for Winter. Its a good job with flexible hours and a decent wage. I even guarantee 10 hours a week thru winter! Doesn't anyone want to work these days?

You should contact me. That's what I do for a living and I dont flake out around winter time. I charge $30/hour for maintenance and give a flat rate for large jobs or those that will take several weeks to finish...plus I'm hot. I also do winter work for several of my clients and even hang Christmas lights and 'winter pots' (check out VanLieus.com in Kansas City)...I make more than a great living and love what I do...
