When they claim liberals are unpatriotic, hate America, when they claim Al Queada supports the Democratic candidates and rejoiced when they won. Then the whole liberals not having jobs thing, its ridiculous.

Like most of the folks who have already answered, the most frustrating label is 'socialist' whenever a social program, like national healthcare, is proposed. It shows great ignorance on the part of the conservatives, and it also shows them to be callous and uncaring about those less fortunate in America. They seem to ignore the fact that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link...and in its current state, the US has no strength at all!
Another example is the label of 'unpatriotic' or accusations of supporting the terrorists when there is opposition to the war in Iraq. They fail to see the importance of having a challenging opposition...and don't realize that without it, the ruling party could do whatever it chooses. That is not how America was built, and it can no longer assume greatness if it allows one party to rule while another sits on its hands with a gagged mouth.

There are plenty of them from liberals are communists, to liberals are druggies, to liberals are lazy and unemployed, to liberals hate America. But my favorite one is that liberals are gay. The reason that this is my favorite is because the Republican Party has been rocked by gay scandals for years. Most recently we had the Mark Foley scandal, but that only lagged a few months behind the Jeff Gannon scandal. The biggest such scandal ran right to the top echelons within the White House as this headline from the Washington Post of June 1989 revealed:
HOMOSEXUAL PROSTITUTIOIN INQUIRY ENSNARES VIPS WITH REAGAN, BUSH
Subheadline read:
Call Boys Took Midnight Tour of White House.
This story is actually connected to a much deeper homosexual scandal connecting powerful Republicans with young boys.

The worst generalisations about 'liberals' are to be found on Fox News Channel. They somehow say the words 'The Democrats' like it is a dirty word.
And the worst 'generalisers'; Ann Coulter, the 'poster girl' of Fox News, and Sean Hannity, the Fox News Channel 'Mr Know-it-all'.

I believe liberals are too often accused of hating America. Obviously the opposite is true.
The EXTREME far left hates America as much as the EXTREME far right.
Neither is true of liberals or conservatives but too much of anything is bad especially in politics.
Thank God and our forefathers belief in him for the checks and balances that both extremes continually attempt to usurp in an effort to gain as much power as they can reap. No matter the costs.

Not a liberal, but close enough to one. My main problem is that liberals are somehow seen as un-American for not sharing the same views as conservatives, often to the point of being called traitors and terrorist appeasers.

That liberals are somehow unamerican. Liberalism defined americans!
Liberals share a belief in individual rights, free enterprise, representative democracy, and the rule of law. In this sense, almost all Americans accept liberal ideals, so much so that it is easy to forget how revolutionary these ideals were when the American Constitution was written. Jefferson said "peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none." All of our founding fathers considered liberalism a foundation of “the grand experiment”, America. In our era, liberalism has been derided to appear weak and elitist, and, our military is used to enter entangling alliances with some. Think liberal, think BIG!

I'm a conservative, but I think the most ridiculous generalization I see about liberals is that none of them have jobs.

I dislike that the party system is not being defined by Democrat/Republican but rather Liberal/Conservative extremes. Most people are middle of the road.

That the term "Liberal" is somehow a dirty word. Conservatives throw it out like it's a slur, which is just silly.
