Or anyone who might know.

Iam wondering which routine vaccines given to infants include mercury, (I know the word they use starts with a T, but I cannot remember it).

Iam even more concerned about which vaccines contain live cultures.

My son is scheduled for the 5-in-1 and two other vaccines this week, Iam researching them before hand.

I dont need the "vaccines save lives" deal. I nearly died after reacting to the HIB vaccine in the 80's. Its not something Iam willing to risk with my son, so I want to learn all I can about them.

Thanks so much!

Oh, also. If anyone knows what the"rare serious side effects" are to these vaccines that would be awesome too. LOL. the websites and print offs always mention they exist but never say what they are.

Since I was one of the one in 100,000 to react to the vaccine way back when, I'd like to know that too. :)

It's not that easy to find actual "medical reports" of vaccine reactions, especially serious ones. I'll tell you why:

a) most doctors don't report the reactions and/or assume they are something else, ie:SIDS
b) no money is available to research because the government would stand to lose MILLIONS if the actual reactions were exsposed.

Please, don't rush into this. You can always choose to vaccinate separately later, but you can never take them back.

ALL vaccines still conatin Mercury/Thimerisol....they have now just reduced the amount so that it falls under another name on the ingredient list. At the moment I forget that name exactly, I'll find the link and post it later.

Please tell every pregnant woman you know who about this issue. They need to know the facts BEFORE they are in the hospital and have time to make an informed objective decision. If they are still convinced their child needs hepatitis B vaccine, beg them to make sure their child does not receive the vaccine as a newborn. Delay the vaccine until they really are at a possible risk, like late adolescence.

I would not do the 5/1 vaccine. It has not been out long enough to know the adverse affects. A babies body cannot handle that amount of toxins. Spread them out and only give baby what is absolutely needed. You, the parent know best and must advocate for your baby. Trust your gut!

Thimerosal

If you are concerned about this, as of May, 2000, it is possible to get the entire course of childhood vaccines without thimerosal, since some manufacturers have developed thimerosal-free vaccines.

Check with your Doctor!

Most of them. If you go to the CDC web site you can find a list of vaccine ingredients.

Personally, I would avoid vaccines altogether. My husband and I believe that our son's speech delay can be attributed to vaccinations he's had, so we refuse to continue them.

Its because they combine them that they need the preservatives - thermisol, so you'd have to get each one seperate.
