I am female and I always sleep on the right hand side of the bed (as it is lain in) and my fella always takes the left. When we first got together we took either side, but we seem to have just drifted in to this habit. Is there a link between gender and sleeping side?

female an left as well ,my partner use to always say he can't sleep on the left so i ended up giving in an took the left side ,even though i like right side. I do think there is a gender link here we are to soft an want are fellas to be happy an comfortable .

Apparently a female who sleeps on the left side of the bed is dominant, I just can't sleep on the right side for some reason and my hubby prefers the right side of the bed so that's how it is in our house, nothing to do with dominance just a decent nights sleep that's all.

I am female and i sleep on the left side of the bed. Always under a window with the window wide open , in Summer or Winter.:)

I'm female and I use to sleep on the left but I now sleep on the right side. What side I sleep on has to do with which side is farthest away from the door.

I tend to sleep on the left or the middle, depending on whether I have company or not. I'm female by the way. If I was to have to share my bed, (king size) with a guy on a regular basis then I'd still take the left! Its my bed after all!

I am male, i sleep on the left.
i always sleep on my side. I USED to sleep on the right, on my right side, facing the center of the bed. then when my wife was pregnant, she wanted to be closer to the door (and the bathroom), so i shifted to the other side. now i've just stayed there. its been a tough adjustment- changing a lifetime of sleeping habits is harder than you'd think!

I am female and sleep on the right side. Before I married, I slept on the left side, but had to change because that was his place. Typical male lol!

Male / Left (although according to the missus I sleep all over the bloody bed and pull the covers off her and thrash about and how am I supposed to get a good nights sleep when you keep rolling on top of me and I'm goin in the spare room now!)
