It is just a saying. Nothing could be further from the truth. SOoooooooo false! You smile, someone frowns and probably thinks " what do they have to smile about". Frown and others will laugh. Just the way of the world

A positive attitude is contagious and a smile goes a long way. When you are a positive person people like to be around you. If you are in a negative space people tend to want to avoid negative attitudes. Example if someone at work is always the whiner, or grouch, people try to avoid that person. So, ultimately those negative types are avoided and alone. I say true.
