I'm not commenting on his singing, I liked the Darkness but I never heard the euro song, just his storming off, and then the comments in the press after!

I don't believe it does matter, I'm just frittering away a few moments, much like most of the people using YA

he seemed very spoilt and mardy when he was voted off...and his song was atrochious!!!!!

i think he was miffed cos he had a dream that he entered the competition...his dream didn't include him not getting through!!

the winning "group" 's song was so bad but thank god the french woman didnt get through...her song was THE WORST and she hit a bum note everytime...

Its the eurovision song contest for goodness sake, what on earth does it matter? If by some strange fluke this odd band did better than we've done for a good few years, (and it is eurovision, so who knows!) then we would all be saying what a great choice the public made. It matters not a bit, I'm surprised he even agreed to do it. Though if you'd listened to the radio earlier you'd have heard him say that he promised a good old rock and roll strop if he didn't win!! Publicity stunt??? perhaps, who knows.

He didn't actually make any comments to the press, he made comments on his Myspace page and the press have picked up on this.

I dont think that he's a sore loser, i think he's stating his opinion which we're all entitled to. However, they've made such a mess with this Eurovision (with Terry Wogan getting the name wrong and Scooch "hiding" their backing singers, I'm starting to think that Mr Hawkins has a point

No I think Justin has a valid point.
Has anyone else come to the conclusion that Eurovision was a stitch-up? So that the UK entry DOESN'T win, as the government have over-spent on the 2012 Olympics, and so couldn't afford to host Eurovision??

I take it you are talking about him being voted off for the Eurovision song? Didn't watch the whole programme, only switched over when the voting was on but did notice that he stormed off without a word to anyone!
Then again.... I don't blame him.... Scoot (or whatever they are called) who won it over him are terrible! How are we going to win with THAT song?

Justin Hawkins is a very very rich genius- he's done more things than sing for the darkness.

He's probably p*ssed off like the rest of us that the crappest band in the world has been chosen to represent us in the eurovision.

Totally!!
And also a bad singer!!
He brands the British public 'sick and racist' for not voting for his entry saying that Beverly looked and sounded fabulous. Yes she did but unfortunately for Justin (and her) he did not!!
I do however feel that all the songs were utter rubbish.
