Get a wireless router, I recommend Linksys or Dlink as I've tried before with pretty good performance. Each of your computer/labtop will need to have wireless adapter as well.

Then have a look on this wireless network setup tutorial to set up your home network.

you need to buy a router, netgear is one of the best companies for this. I would advise buying a netgear adapter also for you pc and laptop, which are compatable, once you do this it is self explanitory via the instructioins, setting up the router and the network adapters on the computer and laptop, make sure you use a WEP key to protect the network to avoid people hacking into your wireless internet, although this is all explained in the instructions. The printer is another question though, i dont now about setting that up, but im sure someone else could answer that.

Buy a wireless router, follow the instructions, it's easy. But you have to have a network capable printer. We did ours in about half an hour. Plugged router into main PC, and have another PC plus 2 laptops all connected wirlelessly.

Go to one of the WiFi manufacturer's websites like LinkSys or NetGear and view their 802.11g WLAN routers. They will show pictorials of how they're used. Usually they have 4 or 5 ethernet switch ports on them that you can hard wire your RJ-45 Cat5 ethernet cables to from your PC and other LAN equipment. Then you simply use the network setup wizard in Windows XP to set up the network and share your printer. You can go through your PC to share its printer or you can buy a separate network printer that has an ethernet interface to hook directly to the router and LAN.

I think the easiest way is to buy a wireless router, then make sure that you have a wireless card for your lappy. For the main machine, you can just run a network cable. You probably already have a network card in the back of your machine.

It is pretty easy really. There is not a lot more to it than that.
