As a predator, lions mostly consume buffalo, gnu, zebras and antelope. However, they've been known to settle for smaller animals and sometimes even fruit.

No they DON'T like to eat humans, we just happen to be in their territory. i have studied lions in the wild for many years now, and what i figured out that they like wildebeest, zebras, and the young like to hunt birds ( for fun).

On the big savannah, I think they really like wilderbeasts and gazelles, with zebras close behind.

Gnus and zebras. They also like to steal prey killed by other cats such as leopards and cheetahs.

wildebeest also called gnu's. they are also keen on zebra and young buffalo. they have to hunt these larger animals to feed their pride.
