My home economics teacher (during high school) told me a long time ago that she was overdue to give birth to her baby. So she ate some grapefruit, drank some castor oil and went for a long walk. The baby was born the next day.

It's possible that the exercise induced her contractions. I'm not sure about the castor oil though. Some people say spicy foods work as well. Experts say that it works by acting on the uterus as an irritant and inducing labor. I think it depends on your body and how easily it responds to certain stimuli.

Anyways, check out the articles I have posted for you. They're quite informative.

You may get a terrible case of the runs, but it won't do anything to your baby
