Ovnis are apparently french or spanish UFOs.

The idea that ovnis or UFOs are visitors from outside the solar system seems unlikely. If it were true, it would be very important. The evidence is poor: either it is potentially faked photos, or it consists entirely of stories told by people. You would think that after all these years someone would come up with a piece of physical evidence that clearly had an origin in extraterrestrial technology---a screw made of an unknown alloy, or an electronic circuit far in advance of our own.

Roswell is a city in New Mexico that makes a fortune off of gullible people by keeping a myth going that an alien space ship landed there. Of course, there's no evidence. Area 51 is a common name for an air base in Nevada I believe where secret aircraft are produced and tested. I have no idea what an ovnis is.

For general info: OVNI is the acronym for UFO in Spanish ... Objecto Volante No Identificado.

As for my opinion ... I think that people who are reporting seeing saucers or being abudcted by aliens are, for the most part, reporting what they believe to be real experiences. Willful, malicious fakers are in the minority. However, I don't believe that any flesh-and-blood aliens in nuts-and-bolts spacecraft are involved. Rather than extraterrestrial, they are **paranormal**, which opens a whole new can of worms.
