My husband suffered a back injury when his seat back broke while driving a big-rig. The worker's comp company is denying the claim because the onset of back pain was not immediate. However, his doctor has stated that this type of injury usually does not result in immediate pain but progresses with time. I am looking for any articles that discuss this situation so that we can present them to the WC Hearing Judge. Is there anyone out there with medical training that could point me to some articles?

You need to do a bit of research on the websites, to select the articles that meet your specific requirement for the court presentation: you will find quite a few out there, in a few sites. good luck!
