Yes, you could well be pregnant and the bleeding you are experiencing is 'implantation bleeding'. This occurs when the fertilised egg implants itself in your uterus. It commonly occurs around the same time as your regular period but is much lighter as you describe. It is of pinky or brownish colour and is scanty and can be on and off for a few days or continual. If it remains like this and does not get heavier then I would take the pregnancy test as I think this will be the explanation. Good luck & hope you get the result your hoping for!

No you can't. Some people experience some light 'spotting' when the embryo is attaching but it shouldn't be anything like a period. Once you're pregnant you won't have you're period till at least 6 weeks after giving birth. good luck!

PS. I don't suffer from cramps during my periods but before I knew I was pregnant I was having what felt like some cramping.

It is still possible for you to have periods and be pregnant, in fact a friend of mine was 4 months gone without realising she was pregnant because she was still getting her periods. It is common to bleed within the first trimester.

I would advise you do take a pregnancy test, or see a doctor.

If you are congrats, if not happy trying!

Yes you can still have periods when you are pregnant although this is very rare. You don't say if you've just stopped taking the pill as this can alter your periods and cause spotting etc.

HI I am having the same as you, I have been spotting the past few days, haven't done a test yet as I think it is a bit early. Try leaving it a week or so.

i think you're not pregnant. Based on my experience, the menstruation really stopped if you're having a baby..although i heard from some friends, that its still possible to get pregnant and have the mens at first...but im 95% sure that you're not yet conceiving..bec if you are, the monthly period will stop and a heavy flow of white blood will replace it.

It can happen but it is extremely rare. I think it's unlikely that you are pregnant this month, these things take time. Just relax and you will be soon enough.

Yes you can, they'll be a lot lighter though, more 'spotting' than anythign else.
