Direct from a Glass.(The Glass must be clean and so your hands )
When you touch the water Glass to your lips the taste s different.
You can observe the difference in tastes in the following types of drinking water.
1.Drink water from a Glass without Glass touching your lips...observe the taste.
2
The same Glass now touching the lips ...feel the difference.
3. Let some one pour water into your clean palms ( as we see in India in Rural section or at municipal taps) ..and with your palms touching lips drink water....It tastes more sweeter.
$.Stand in a flowing clean river. With your open clean hands (Dosillu;a telugu word).. take water with your hands and drink. It tastes like amrutam(nectar)..so sweet.
The water being the same the taste differs in the way you drink it.
you can observe yourselves.
But let WATER,HANDS,GLASS RIVER WATER be clean and pure please.

That's more a matter of habit, etiquette and tradition. However, it should be taken from glass and should be sipped slowly for it is said in Ayurveda that water should be taken as solid food is taken in small doses and solid food should be chewed so much that it turns into liquid from perfect health point of view.

i have seen it... at the same time as i replaced into little i imagine. the lady who replaced into eating always acted like she replaced into nobility or some thing and that i imagine she did it partly because she always wore heavy lipstick that she didn't want to come back off.
