Explain why you think a supersaturated solution is required for crystallisation to occur.

A crystal is formed from a compound dissolved in a solution. Unless the solution is supersaturated (more than saturated), then the dissolved compound will just happily stay dissolved, and no crystals will form.

Then read through your notes.
Find the process of crystallization.
Then you'll see why a supersaturated solution is needed.
