International diplomacy should be our top priority. The U.S. needs to recognize that we are always the white elephant in the room. We should not bow down, but tone down. This size of our military states all. Most countries already know they the can do little more than object if the USA really wants to do something. Why rub their noses in it?

Develop and properly fund a defensive position on terrorism. Specifically upgrade and develop new computer systems for the overlooked and often neglected FBI and CIA. In terms of economy, it is much more efficient to catch the terrorists before they attack as opposed to sending hundreds of thousands of troops overseas after an attack.

Remove FEMA from the Department of Homeland Security. It is imperative that the US not forget what happened in New Orleans and the Mississippi gulf coast. What happened was just as devastating as any terrorist attack and is more likely to happen to the average citizen.

The toughest part of this question is deciding on only three....

As the troops will be in the final stages of withdrawl from Iraq, I won't waste my thoughts on that. But I think the common thread for all three would be revolving around a focus on America...in America. Its time that the President represented the people of his country and focussed his attention on restoring the greatness of America. And for me...it would mean:

1. Implementing a national healthcare plan that would ensure ALL citizens had equal access to best in class healthcare. The health of the country starts with the health of the country!

2. Investing in the children of this country. Ensuring that ALL children have a bed to sleep in and are sent to safe schools with food in their bellies. Give them the opportunity to become the future leaders of this country.

3. Commiting to the development of alternative fuels and other 'green' measures. The future of the country...and the world...depends upon it.

1. Maintaining the quest for victory in the War on Terror, especially in Iraq. This would show strength and resolve, and succor our allies and the Iraqi government. This is important, not just to the GOP, but for all Americans, for all our allies in the WOT, and for all the people of the world suffering from Islamic terrorism.

2. Keep taxes low. Make the current income tax rates permanent. Permanently decrease taxes on investment returns. Eliminate the inheritance tax permanently. These are good for the economy and for the people. No economy has ever prospered when government takes too much money.

3. Decrease government spending. Eliminate unconstitutional federal agencies and spending. It is high time to re-invigorate the 10th Amendment, and stand up for what it says.

#1- 50,000 more troops to Iraq. We need to secure the government in power there so we can get out.

#2-Create a guest worker program and legalize Mexican illegals that have worked hard without obtaining a criminal record. Seal the borders.

#3-Double the amount of nuclear power plants then use profits from this cheaper energy to create alternative fuel sources and mainstreaming the electric car.
